The Special Events Division of Westmed Ambulance provides medical standby services for those individuals, businesses and organizations that produce movies/TV, public sporting events, concerts and community entertainment events. The special events division’s experience and expertise afford clients the peace of mind they need in regards to participant and spectator saftey.

The Special Events Division provides basic and advanced life support, on-site ambulance transport, and technical consultation for a wide variety of public events, as well as serving the entertainment industry with personnel, equipment, vehicles, and technical advice. The division covers the following types of events:

• Film and Television Safety Stand-By
• Film and Television Extras and Background
